I never ran into this issue myself, but great to see it fixed!

It might be worth it to fix the main game description, just so that you don't frighten away any potential new players with talk about a game-breaking bug that no longer exists.

I'm not sure I'm the problem is on your end or itch.io's end, but I'm unable to download the new version. Even after refreshing the download page, the only file I'm able to download from itch.io is "Imaloveinterest_childhoodfriend_ENG-1.1.0-pc.zip" and the game identifies itself as Version 1.1 when I run it and check in-game.

I'm not sure what the process is for building in Unity, but I think you need to fix some things. Trying to run your game results in an error:

"The code execution cannot proceed because UnityPlayer.dll was not found."

I noticed the same thing. One of the broken images is the second image you see after starting a new game.

If you do a Ctrl-F in the code, you should be able to find the broken references to "apartmentd.png" and "thelawbreaker.png" and change them, or I suppose you can just rename the appropriate images. I fixed it in my copy, but it would be nice to see it fixed in the official release whenever you get a chance. Be well.

The game doesn't play well with ultrawide monitors, unfortunately. It's not a big deal if the game wasn't meant to be played in 21:9... However, instead of leaving black bars to the left and right, the game tries to fill the whole screen, which cuts off a large chunk of the top and bottom of the game.

It's not the end of the world, but if the developer ever feels like coming back to this project, it would be nice to see this issue resolved!
